You may be asking why not do it yourself. Photo scanning is very time consuming
and low end slide scanners are satisfactory at best. We have invested in high
quality film scanners that produce high quality scans.   Our film scanners principal
features are "The "Scan Image Enhancer" which automatically adjusts hue to
produce images with clear contrast. "Digital Ice" detects, analyzes and
automatically compensates for scratches and dust. "Digital ROC" digitally
restores for faded colors in old film. "Digital GEM" automatically corrects film
grain,smoothing pictures taken with high-speed film. "Digital DEE" reveals details
in shadows of back lit and underexposed shots and increases contrast in
"washed-out" areas of highlights to produce natural looking exposure.

We scan various film types as follows:
35mm slides (including Kodachrome)
35mm negatives
Medium film format (120/220)
Prints

We scan your photos in batches of around 50 photos each. We will set up your
folder structure so when you receive your CD your file structure is done and all you
need to do is save them to your computer.   You will select the photo for your CD
sleeve and creative memories label. You will be informed of your order status
throughout the process.
